Translation of Unlucky Pogi

Apa saja kemauan Pogi selalu dituruti.

Pogi is a lazy boy. He just eats, sleeps and playing around all the time. His parents do not forbid him because they are rich family. Everything that he wants, her parents always give it to him.

One day, Pogi went to the forest. In the middle of his journey, he met a wanderer who brought 5 heavy sacks.
“Hello young man! Would you like to help me bring these sacks to the city?” asked the wanderer.

Pogi pura-pura tidak mendengar. Ia tetap berjalan perlahan sambil mengamati tumbuhan.
Silahkan pilih!”
Pogi masih pura-pura tidak mendengar. Huh! Tadi minta tolong sekarang malah mau memberi karung. Paling-paling isinya Cuma sampah, batin Pogi.

Pogi pretended didn’t hear. He kept walking while seeing the plant.
“Boy, I’ll give you one of these sacks. You may choose it!”
Pogi still pretended didn’t hear. Huh! Before it he asked for help, now he is going to give me a sack. Maybe it’s just a trash, Pogi though.

Nah, pilihlah salah satu!”

“Young man, this my red bundle sack contains of the disease medicine ingredients, then the blue bundle sack contains of the rice seeds from all seasons. Or you want the white bundle sack? It contains of  the selected silk fabrics, the green bundle contains  various kind of cooking spices and the yellow sack contains of gold gem folks. Choose one!”

”Ah, baiklah.”kata Pogi semangat. ”Aku pilihyang berwarna kuning aja.”
”Apakah kamu yakin karung ini membawa keberuntungn bagimu?”
”Sangat yakin. Sudahlah, cepat berikan. Aku tidak sabar membawanya pulang .”omel Pogi .

“Ah, okay.” said Pogi enthusiastic. “I choose the yellow one.”
“Are you sure if this sack will bring luck for you?”
“I’m pretty sure. Come on, just give it to me. I can’t wait it to bring it home.” He grumbled

Pogi lalu melanjutkan perjalanan pulang.

The wanderer gave the yellow bundle sack. Pogi brought the sack directly without thanked with the wanderer. After a bit away, he opened the sack. Ah, how happy Pogi while he saw so many gold inside it. Then he continued his way home.

Tiba-tiba...
”Pokoknya kalau bertemu orang kaya, kita rampok saja.” kata salah satu orang.

Suddenly …
“If we meet the rich, just rob them. “said the man.

After heard that voice, Pogi hid immediately. After the two men gone,He came out from his hiding place. He walked in a hurry and fear. He arrived at the river bank. The crossing place seems quiet.  There were just 3 boat pullers.
Ketiga penarik perahu tertawa terbahak-bahak. Mendengar hal itu Pogi semakin ketakutan. Diambilnya jalan pintas.

The three boat pullers laughed out loud. After heard that, Pogi became more frightened. He took a short cut. He swam to the river bank. In the middle of the river, a crocodile approached him.

Lemparan tepat sekali. Buaya itu kesulitan mengunyah karung. Pogi merasa musuhnya lengah. Ia berenang ke tepian secepatnya.

Without a doubt, Pogi hit the crocodile’s snout by the sack which he brought.
The crocodile opens its snout instead. He threw the gold sack into the crocodile directly. His throw exactly hit the crocodile. The crocodile could not chew the sack. He felt that his enemy in weak. He swam to the bank as fast as he could.

Justru mendatangkan bahaya. Sejak itu Pogi menjadi rajin dan bijaksana.

Since that time, Pogi realized that actually gold didn’t bring luck for him. It brought the danger instead. He became diligent and wise.
